Nothing says summer more than drinking copious amounts of rosé. I don’t know about your neck of the woods but Los Angeles was definitely feeling the heat this week. So in an attempt to keep cool I decided to try and combine two of summer’s favorite things rosé and popsicles!
After trying a few different versions of freezing alcohol, to varying degrees of success, I came up with my preferred method!
1.) Fill up 1/4 of your popsicle mold with your favorite fresh squeezed fruit juice. I prefer pineapple or grapefruit juice but go with what you like or read the tasting label on your bottle of wine and play off of that.
2.) Fill the rest of the popsicle mold with your favorite rosé.
3.) Put the molds in the freezer and wait 12-24 hours for the popsicles to freeze.
These are great to have on hand heading into the weekend. How much better would Friday at 5 feel when you know that you have these waiting in the freezer.
Enjoy, I know I will!
